FAQ

What kind of events do you play?

Sporting events, parades, community showcases, charity fundraising walks, backyard parties, special business functions and promotions, trade shows, music for advertising and commercials… the list goes on and on. What we WON'T play for is a shorter list. We will not play on behalf of political candidates or issues. We will not play for social marches that have primarily a political goal.

How far in advance do I need to contact you?

Usually, we need at least a couple of months notice. If your event is nearer than that, you can contact us anyway — if we're not busy and are available, you might get lucky! Keep in mind that between June and October, we are often pretty heavily booked. We have a few regular events that reserve us a year in advance. So the sooner you know you want us, the better!

Can I hire you for gigs out of the Portland area?

Yep! We can usually find a way to get a crew out of town, if we have enough time to plan. If we're traveling a long way such that transportation and lodging become an issue, you'll need to budget for that, too.

How are your fees determined?

We charge a flat rate to appear at your event. If you have special considerations, like an extra-early arrival time where we sit for hours waiting to play, or the need for an extended play time beyond an hour, or if you don't need a full-sized group, we will adjust the price accordingly.

What are your fees?

This depends on the type of event, location, day of the week & time. Travel & performance time are all taken into consideration. Please contact us with your specific request.
